Which new TV show is your favorite?
We’re getting ready to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The X-Files, but the franchise is far from done.
We’re excited to announce that the hit TV show will return for a third season in the fall, with a third installment slated to debut in 2019.
This time around, new hosts and stars will join the show’s original creators, Gillian Anderson and Chris Carter, and a new group of heroes and villains will be introduced in a brand-new installment.
With a new cast and a fresh look at the characters, The X Files will also return with a new generation of fans eager to experience what all the fuss was about.
Here are the new faces of the series:Joel McHale (Bartels Pharmacy)The most well-known X-files fan, Joel McHale will be returning as former FBI agent David Coleman Headley in a new series called Bartels Pharmacies.
The show’s first season will also feature a host of recurring characters from the show, including Dr. Scully (Sandra Oh), former FBI Agent Mulder (Bob Odenkirk) and the mysterious and highly-trained Dr. Mulder-Detective Miller (David Boreanaz).
In season three, McHale is set to appear alongside co-creator Gillian and executive producer Chris Carter in a series of short, one-hour episodes.
“I’m really excited to be a part of the show and I can’t wait to be back on it,” said McHale, who is also a producer on the upcoming third season.
“The series will be a celebration of the X-file, with the most well known X-fire and the X in the universe, and it will also be the first time I’ve been able to work with the writers and cast again, so that was very cool.
I’m really looking forward to it.”
A new era begins”The X-File has long been a fan favorite, but with its fifth season set to premiere in 2018, many fans are eager to get back into the show.
The series has been a constant source of fun for the show-loving public since its inception in 2002, and the upcoming fourth season will be the latest installment to kick off the series’ 10-year run.
“We’re also very excited to revisit some of the most iconic characters, and that’s where Bartels will be at. “

A new generation ready for the seriesThe third season of Bartells will be followed by a new batch of episodes, with Carter, Anderson and Carter’s fellow X-Fire alum, Bong Joon Ho (The Killing), also reprising his role as Mulder.
“Mulder will be playing a character who’s not very familiar with the show but who’s very connected to the X,” Carter teased.
“He’s sort of like a mentor to Mulder and Scully, and he’ll be a bit of a confidante and a confidant to Miller and Scully.
