A pharmacist from a major pharmacy chain was on hand to help an employee who was injured when a bullet went through the door of a store in Pennsylvania.
The store in Fairfield Township, Pa., was evacuated Wednesday morning after the incident occurred.
Police say the pharmacist was at work when the gunshot occurred, and a police officer was called to the scene.
He says a woman and a child were outside when they were shot.
The woman and child were taken to the hospital, but they’re expected to be OK.
A man was also shot.
Police say they’re investigating whether the man was involved in the shooting.
Police and emergency responders say the bullet entered through the front door.
Police did not release the condition of the man, but say he is expected to survive.
Police do not have a suspect description.
The shooting happened at the Rite Aid pharmacy in Fairmont Township, Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania State Police say the shooting happened in the area of East 7th Street and East Broad Street, in the same building as a local Walmart.
