The Drug Enforcement Administration on Wednesday announced a new program that allows you to buy up to three cannabis products and one CBD oil at a time from Target stores.
The cards are good for up to 12 months and can be used for qualifying patients with specific medical conditions.
The new program is aimed at patients in Colorado, Washington and Oregon who have not received any other relief from the federal government.
The federal government is targeting patients with severe conditions like HIV and cancer to use its expanded medical marijuana program.
Target’s announcement comes on the heels of a recent announcement by Target Corp. that it plans to launch a new online shopping site that will allow people to buy marijuana products with their credit cards and at participating stores.
Target will open a dispensary in Seattle, and a dispensary will open in Portland.
