The government is freezing prices on many items in an attempt to combat inflation.
The new price lists include items including meat, fruit, fish, cheese, and even wine.
The move was announced on Friday by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, which said that prices will be frozen for all goods in the first half of next year.
According to the list, which was released on Thursday, meat will not be cheaper in 2018, and cheese will not go up, while alcohol prices will not increase, while coffee and tobacco will not see any price hikes, and the cost of medicines will not rise.
“The price of all food products in Italy will not change,” it added.
The list also includes the prices of all medicines, including some used for asthma, and other medications, for which prices will also not change.
